Subaru Certified Collision Repair

We are Subaru OEM-certified — equipped and trained to repair Subaru vehicles to factory standards, so EyeSight and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive work the way Subaru engineered them after the repair.

What Subaru Certification Means

Most of the current Subaru lineup is built on the Subaru Global Platform, combining high-strength steel, structural adhesives, and the EyeSight camera system mounted at the top of the windshield. Those pieces only perform as designed when the repair follows Subaru procedures. Our certification means we work from current Subaru repair information, use the specified welds, rivets, and adhesives, and recalibrate EyeSight before your vehicle goes back on the road.

What We Must Do to Stay Certified

  • Subaru-approved structural and refinish technician training
  • Access to current Subaru repair procedures and technical information
  • Correct methods for high-strength steel, rivets, and structural adhesives
  • Equipment and procedures to recalibrate EyeSight driver assist cameras
  • Safe handling of Solterra high-voltage and hybrid components

Certification is not a one-time plaque. Subaru requires ongoing training, equipment, and facility standards, and we keep ours current so every Subaru that comes through the shop is repaired to the standard the manufacturer set.

Subaru Repair FAQ

In most cases, yes. EyeSight reads the road through stereo cameras at the top of the windshield, so a windshield replacement, camera removal, or structural and suspension work can all put the system out of specification. We follow the Subaru-specified recalibration procedure and document it on your repair order.

Yes — those two are the Subarus we see most often in Southern Maine. Both are built on the Subaru Global Platform, and our certification covers the structural procedures, materials, and driver assist recalibration they require.

Subaru specifies OEM parts for structural and safety-related components, particularly anything tied to the all-wheel-drive system or driver assist sensors. We use OEM Subaru parts by default and will discuss any insurer-required alternatives with you before proceeding.
